Seminars/Workshops/Courses
The next lecture on the health benefits of meditation will be held in Avalon on Saturday 27 March 2010.
One hundred and fifty people attended the lecture at Manly earlier in March 2010. This innovative medical seminar, presented by Dr. Ramesh Monocha, explored the benefits of meditation on overall health. The seminar included several opportunities to experience mental silence. At the end of the seminar more than 70% of the audience reported achieving a state of mental silence and thoughtlessness in their meditations.
Dr. Manocha is a world-leading expert on scientific research into meditation. His research has proven the effectiveness of meditation in reducing stress and improving wellbeing. It has also determined that mental silence has specific physiological effects on the body and the brain.
This Saturday’s lecture will provide a refreshing insight into the science behind meditation. It will also allow the audience to acquire simple and effective meditation skills which can be easily incorporated into daily life.
Don’t miss the opportunity to attend this very informative session followed by a hands-on workshop.
