A free 4-week course in Sahaja Yoga Mental Silence meditation began on 6 February 2013, and will run during the month of February.
Mental silence meditation is a unique method that allows you to experience peace within, free from the constant chatter of the mind. When the mind is still and silent, you feel a sense of contentment and well-being.
Through the regular practice of Sahaja Yoga meditation, you are able to achieve mental silence. In just a short time, you see positive changes in your life – better physical health, improved relationships and a greater ability to handle stress.
The beneficial health effects of mental silence meditation have been demonstrated by Dr Ramesh Manocha, a respected Australian medical practitioner and researcher. He has conducted research on patients with epilepsy, asthma and menopausal symptoms, and on children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

The classes are suitable for people who have never meditated before, as well as regular meditators. There are no strenuous physical exercises, and no special clothing or postures are required.
Sahaja Yoga meditation is a very simple method for achieving a state of “thoughtless awareness” or mental stillness. This is very relaxing, and has been shown in scientific studies to have beneficial effects on physical health and mental wellbeing.
