Sahaja Yoga Meditation Queensland is holding our next meditation workshop on Saturday 24th September 2011.

This workshop is both for people coming for the first time and for people who have been attending Sahaja Yoga programs for a while.

Program:
2:00 – 2:30pm: Welcome and refreshments
2:30 – 3:00pm: Meditation and how to achieve a state of mental silence
3:00 – 4:00pm: Useful clearing techniques
4:00 – 4:20pm: Video lecture from Shri Mataji
4:20 – 5:15pm: Meditation and live music
5.30pm: Dinner

Cost: There are no costs or payments required for your attendance.

Directions to Workshop venue in Wamuran:
The address is 95 McClintock Road, Wamuran. From the M1 motorway, take the Kilcoy exit and proceed along D’aguilar Highway until you reach Wamuran. Opposite the IGA store, turn right and then right again into Station Rd. Turn left at the small roundabout into Newlands Rd for approx 3km, and then left into Patane Rd which leads to McClintock Rd. Number 95 is just over the top of the hill on the left.

Sahaja Yoga Meditation Cairns would like to invite you to our next meditation workshop to be held on Saturday 18 June 2011.

For the beginner, this is an opportunity to discover the peace that lies within, and experience a new awareness that you probably never knew existed.

For those of you who have already been attending our regular weekly programs, this workshop will teach you techniques to enhance your meditations, helping you to find a new depth of peace and clarity, as well as improving your general state of well-being.

When:  Saturday 18 June, 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm

Where:  Marlin Coast Neighborhood Centre
2 Reed Road, Trinity Park
(Entrance next to Holy Cross School)
Cairns, Queensland

Cost: There are no costs for this workshop or for ongoing classes.

Seating: Chairs provided. No physical exercises, postures or special clothing are required.

Directions to venue:
If coming from Cairns, turn right from Captain Cook Highway at Reed Rd roundabout and continue along Reed Rd through first roundabout. Turn right at next roundabout and go back up Reed Rd to entrance of Neighborhood Centre on the left past the Holy Cross School.

On Saturday, 9 April 2011, Woolgoolga Beach Reserve at Woolgoolga in northern NSW, Australia, will come alive with the colourful and exotic sights, sounds and smells of the sixth annual Woolgoolga Curryfest. Celebrating the region’s unique cultural diversity, visitors can enjoy twelve hours of food, music, dance and fun from around the world.

This year’s festival is bigger and better than ever, with an amazing line-up of world-class entertainers, and more cuisines represented than ever before. Enjoy delicious tasting plates from India, Japan, Morocco, Mexico, and even the great Aussie BBQ, among others. There will also be an array of temping sweet treats and espresso coffee.

On stage, the global entertainment will continue all day and into the night. Highlights include Ghana’s Afro Moses, performing with some of Africa’s best musicians; award-winning singer and composer, Carmella, known for her powerful, transporting, and angelic voice; and Australia’s finest guitar trio, Martinez Akustika, who have previously toured with The Gypsy Kings and Buena Vista Social Club.

Sahaj Yoga will also present singing and dance groups with Indian and World Music flavours.

Curryfest offers something for everyone. Shop for gifts, clothing and spices in the marketplace, and then chill out in the Sahaja Yoga meditation tent. You can even join in the Indian theme with some traditional henna hand painting.

Younger visitors will love the new, larger kid’s area, with fun carnival rides and sideshow games. Bring the family for a great, festive day out and enjoy great food, entertainment and fun by the beach. It’s only once a year!
